Go Atlantis!

I took this photo during the STS-132 launch yesterday. I just listened to audio I recorded at the launch, and it's fantastic. Look for that in an upcoming podcast.

The closest I ever came was seeing a shuttle ready to take off, but it wasn't for a few weeks. That's really awesome.

I didn't realize how bright it was going to be. Someone at NASA later told me that it's one-third the brightness of the sun. That sounds about right to me.
